Welcome to The Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio show.

​

We are holding a Small Works exhibition open to all members of the Friends and the instructors.

This very popular exhibition will open Saturday May 27th to Monday May 29th from 12pm to 5pm at the Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery, Glen Echo Park.

The Show will be live. No virtual Show this year.

Artists may submit two paintings, drawings or mixed media.

The Friends will host an in-person reception on Saturday May 27th 2023, from 5-7 pm. Mask wearing is optional and up to the individual.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Your membership must be current! Your membership must not expire before May 27th, 2023.

• Up to two original painting, drawing, or mixed media work allowed on canvas, panel board or professional grade paper background.

• Max size unframed 14*14 inches.

• All work must be for sale, and priced accordingly.   

• Drawings/pastels, or water-based media must be matted and framed under glass, or plexi.

• Artwork must be framed to professional standard and wired.

• No digital media accepted, including partial photography or Giclées.

Sales Procedure:

• No virtual gallery.

• The Friends are responsible for processing all sales. The Yellow Barn Studio will take a 10% commission for incidental costs.

• The Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio are not responsible for damage or loss of artwork.

Registration Details: 

• Deadline to apply is Monday May 22nd, 2023 by 5pm.

• Artworks drop off Friday, May 26th, 4-6 pm.

• Artworks pick-up Monday May 29th at 5pm.

• Please be sure information is accurate with proper artist name, as per the email confirmation you will receive.

• If a correction is needed, please resubmit your registration (the last submission will be included in gallery).
