Welcome to The Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio Paint Out Event.

​

We are holding a Paint Out event open to all and new members of the Friends and the instructors.

This outdoor event will be held on Saturday June 10th 2023 from 10am to 4pm at the historic Glen Echo Park.

The Friends will host an in-person reception and sale from 5 to 7pm. Mask wearing is optional and up to the individual.

​

In case of a bad weather, we reserve Sunday June 11th as a Rain day.

​

Bring your own easel, paints, brushes and otherpainting gear. We will spend the day outside, so besure to bring snacks and drinks, a hat and whateverelse you need to be comfortable.
 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Your membership must be current! Your membership must not expire before June 10th 2023.

  • All work must be for sale, and priced accordingly.   

  • All works should be framed, so bring your own frame. Artwork must be framed to professional standard and wired.

  • No digital media accepted, including partial photography or Giclées.

Sales Procedure:

  • 10% commission on sales for this show.

  • Artists agree to deliver their artwork in good condition to the buyer, and professionally framed.

  • Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax.

The Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio is not responsible for processing sales, delivery/shipping of artwork represented in the show, damage or loss of artwork in transit to buyer.

Registration Details: 

  • Registration starts on April 28th 2023. Deadline to apply is Friday June 9th, 2023 by 5pm; or on site at the time of the event.

  • Please be sure information is accurate with proper artist name, as per the email confirmation you will receive.
