Need Advice on Book Publishing Companies in Texas for My Project

I’m posting here in the FriendsYellowBarn Group because I’m planning to publish a book and need some guidance. I’ve been looking into book publishing companies in Texas, but I’m not sure which option would be right for me. I have my content mostly ready, but I want to make sure it is properly edited, formatted, and presented in a professional way before moving forward.
I’m also unsure whether I should choose a traditional publisher or go with self-publishing. Both options seem useful, but I don’t fully understand which one fits my goals better. I want to avoid mistakes and make the right decision from the start.
