Trying to find a good customer communication platform

Our small e-commerce business is really trying to step up its customer engagement game. We've been using basic email for support and newsletters, but it feels like we're missing out on a lot of opportunities for real-time interaction and personalized communication. I'm looking for a solid customer communication platform that can handle live chat, messaging, and perhaps even some automation to help us grow.
