WELCOME to the “live and virtual” Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio, 27th Annual Juried Members’ Show

Breakthrough - Charlotte Harron

Artists from near and far working in any 2D medium have submitted their best work to be juried into this exclusive show. Approximately 80 pieces were juried into this show from over 200 submissions.  All work is original and is for sale.

This year we are proud to announce as our judge, David Sharpe, renowned Canadian tonalist, abstract and plein air artist… You can find his full bio at

Our live show at the Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery will be available beginning December 4th for three full weekends, through Dec 19th. Gallery hours are 12-5pm, Saturdays and Sundays. Our on-line show will be available for viewing on our website for one year. 

Prizes were awarded by David Sharpe for Best in Show and in five individual categories including, Oil and Acrylic, Gouache and Watercolor, Drawing, Abstract and Mixed Media. In addition five honorable mentions were selected by our judge.


Congratulations to Charlotte Harron for Best in Show and to Malathi Jayawickrama, Vicki Zhou, Suharshini Seneviratne, Linda Sherman, and Roy Comiskey for placing Best in the individual medium categories. Heartfelt congratulations go out to all of our winners!
